The Karst and Slovene Istria Nature

We pick you up at the agreed-upon time and place and head towards the Primorska region. Upon reaching the Karst (approx. noon), we check in the Grahor hotel and have lunch between 1 and 2 p.m. At 2.15, we set out for the Škocjan park and the Škocjan Caves.
The guided tour lasts for about 2 hours. Afterwards, we return to Sežana by bus, and between 6 and 6.30 p.m. visit the Vina Kras winery. The wine tasting takes place after the dinner at the same location with socializing from 2 to 2.5 hours, after which we return to the hotel for the night.

After breakfast at 8 a.m., the bus takes us to the Slovene coast, where we gear up for the cycling tour in front of the Škocjanski zatok Nature Reserve at about 9 a.m. Half of the group is driving e-bikes, while the other half has regular bikes. The cycling along the Parezana route takes us to the Sečovlje Saltworks, where we have a guided tour booked at 11 a.m. with coffee and light snacks afterwards. If the weather allows, we can go swimming as well. Late seafood lunch will be waiting for us in Piran around 3 p.m.

We can decide to cycle back to the starting point or finish this portion of our trip in Portorož or Piran and return to the hotel between 5 and 6 p.m. There you can relax in the pool and wellness centre until dinner.

After breakfast, we check out and drive to the botanical garden. The tour of the garden is concluded by a lunch nearby, we head home at around 2 p.m.
