Get ready for a taste of the Karst

Starting in the morning from Ljubljana or the booked location, we drive towards the Karst, to the Herbal Estate Belajevi 1839 in the Kačiče Village. Here, we are greeted by the host Andrejka, who loves to share her amusing Karst stories over their signature herbal brunch. Belajevi is also the end-point of our trip when the master chef Slavica Smrdel serves us a real Karst feast: a herbal 5-course lunch. Chef Slavica is known for her perfectionism, respecting the cuisine of her parents and remaining faithful to the culinary tradition of older generations.

After the delicious herbal brunch, we meet our guide Andrej and prepare for our scenic e-cycling tour of the Karst and the latest tourist attraction, the Mythical Park. From there, charming forest roads will lead us to the Škocjan Caves, known for their majestic underground cave system and many attractions on the surface. The last portion of the road runs through the picturesque karst moors towards Divača, where we finish the cycling part of our Karst experience.

From the small town of Divača, we take a bus to the Križ Village to visit the Pri Starčih – Tavčar Winery and spoil our palate with some delicious wine tasting. The Winery received numerous golden awards for their wines and Teran liqueur prepared according to the traditional family recipe. In the afternoon, we return to Herbal Estate Belajevi 1839, where we end our trip with a herbal garden tour and a memorable culinary experience.

Bicycle helmet: 2 €/person. The helmet is optional but we highly recommend it. Additional driver: 70 €/group (in case the trip lasts more than 14 hours). An English-speaking guide is provided for all tours.
